
Who needs a regular eye test?
Everybody! Eye tests should be part of everyone’s health care routine just like going to the dentist. A contact lens check is not the same as a full eye test. Contact lens wearers must have regular eye tests and aftercare check ups to be able to purchase contact lenses.
Where do I go for an eye test?A full eye test should be conducted by a qualified Optometrist. Visit the in store Opticians or call to make an appointment with your Asda Optometrist.
How often should I have an eye test?Most people should go for an eye test at least once every two years. If you have diabetes or a family history of eye disease, such as glaucoma, you should have an eye test every year. Speak to your Optometrist for individual advice.

What if I need glasses and can’t afford them at the moment?Glasses don’t have to cost hundreds of pounds and should be priced clearly so you can see the total price you will be paying.
